The Security Site Representative is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of personnel, property, and infrastructure at a utilities facility. This role involves monitoring access points, conducting patrols, enforcing site-specific protocols, and responding to incidents in a professional and timely manner. Key Responsibilities Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors. Conduct routine patrols of the premises to ensure physical security and deter unauthorized activity. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents according to established procedures. Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and internal teams when necessary. Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional security presence. Operate security systems including surveillance cameras, badge readers, and communication devices. Participate in site-specific training and emergency drills. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional security or law enforcement training preferred. Valid security guard license (if required by state or local regulations). Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred. Familiarity with utility infrastructure and critical site protocols Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Strong communication and observational skills. Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Valid drivers license may be required depending on site duties.
