Job Title: Vendor Relations Specialist Sr
Duration: 6 months
Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite)

About the Role:
We are seeking a Vendor Relations Specialist Sr to support corporate facilities. This role will focus on vendor management, onboarding, and repair/maintenance support in response to Return-to-Office initiatives. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and skilled in cross-functional collaboration.
 
Top Candidate Skills:
  • Data Analysis & Business Analytics – 2–4 years
  • Process & Operational Standards Development – 2–4 years
  • Vendor Management – 2+ years
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Document and assist in developing processes, reporting, training, and implementation of evolving vendor requirements.
  • Lead vendor onboarding and manage core data setup.
  • Advise cross-functional teams on vendor setup criteria to ensure smooth procurement operations.
  • Develop audit reports and complete data administration to maintain accurate vendor data.
  • Research and qualify new vendors as needed.
  • Resolve vendor issues and work with vendors to address disputed or outstanding invoices.
  • Provide repair and maintenance support within SSC facilities.
 
Team & Work Environment:
  • Small but collaborative team with strong cross-functional interaction.
  • Opportunity to work independently while leaning on team support when needed.
  • Work is meaningful, broad, and central to client operations.
 
Candidate Requirements:
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED, US Military Service, or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of experience in:
  • Data analysis & business analytics
  • Content development for process & operational standards
  • Vendor management
 
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Smartsheet and SharePoint.
  • Eptura (highly preferred).
  • Familiarity with ticketing-based management systems.
 
Core Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Understanding of how vendor data impacts procurement & payment systems.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication.
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements.
  • Customer service mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
 
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience with plumbing, HVAC, or electrical systems.
  • Prior experience working in office environments, mindful of workflows during maintenance activities.
