Job Description
Title: Business Continuity Analyst /Business Analyst III
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Remote (US-Remote/ EST preferred)
Responsibilities

Design and Development: Create realistic and customized scenarios for tabletop testing, including potential developments or “injects” that challenge participants.

Facilitation: Support facilitation of exercises in a low-stress, “no-fault” environment, guiding participants through scenarios and encouraging open discussion.

Coordination and Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders (IT, legal, communications, business executives) and external partners to ensure exercise objectives align with business goals and risk management strategies.

Documentation and Reporting: Capture observations and key takeaways during exercises. Develop detailed After-Action Reports (AARs) summarizing findings, identifying gaps, and providing actionable recommendations.

Follow-Up and Improvement: Track and ensure resolution of action items identified in AARs. Update incident response plans, policies, and procedures based on lessons learned.

Training and Program Management: Support the development and delivery of training programs aligned with testing objectives. Contribute to defined resilience initiatives and provide after-hours support as needed.
Required Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in incident management, business continuity, emergency management, or a related field.

In-depth knowledge of Business Continuity and Crisis Management frameworks, with an all-hazards approach to testing.

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Communication Skills: Strong writing skills for reports and clear communication with technical and non-technical staff, including executive leadership.

Analytical Skills: Ability to assess exercise outcomes, identify strengths and weaknesses in plans, and pinpoint improvement areas.

Time Management & Organization: Skilled at managing multiple tasks and keeping exercises on schedule.

Conflict Management: Ability to navigate disagreements in a collaborative, no-fault environment to drive effective solutions.
