The Collibra Developer will design, develop, and implement technical integration and automation solutions to enable data governance.

Job Description:
The Collibra Developer will be a technical developer generalist, focused on integrations and workflows for the data governance platform, Collibra.
The Collibra Developer will design, develop, and implement technical integration and automation solutions to enable data governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement technical solutions in Collibra:
- Workflows
- Data Catalog integrations
- Application integrations
- Act as an escalation point for support requests and sysadmin tasks
- Gather requirements, scoping, discovery
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Stay up to date on new Collibra features and products, including the Java and REST APIs
- Coordinate with the vendor on issues and feature requests
Required Skills:
- 5+ years programming experience
- 5+ years enterprise software application development
Preferred Skills:
- Collibra development
- Groovy programming
- REST API development
- Python programming
- Flowable experience
- Data quality experience
- Reference data management experience
- GitHub experience
- Ability to analyze complex processes into sub-processes
- Have clear understanding of your assigned functional area and the data being managed, and its implications downstream to other systems, processes, and applications
- Knowledge of the business rules for their functional areas
- Excellent oral, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong meeting facilitation skills as well as presentation skills.
- Communicate effectively with diverse people at various organization levels with right level of detail and cultural sensitivity
- Experience in Agile methodologies
- Flexible and open to new ideas with the ability to understand things from corporate, regional and local perspectives while maintaining customer focus.
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment; self-motivated to work in an independent and collaborative mode.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or other related major, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred.
- General knowledge of hospital operations, patient management, the interrelationship of systems, and how technology enables business processes.
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of backend database configuration and processes.
