Position: HR Project Manager/Workstream Lead
Location: Acton, MA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months
 
Job Description:
The Human Resources Project Manager will play a pivotal role in the establishment of client’s new India client Capability Center (ICC). This fixed-term assignment is designed to provide project coordination, governance, and HR subject matter support during the discovery, design, and initial stand-up phases of the ICC.
 
This individual will serve as a critical connector across multiple HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), ensuring alignment on design decisions, while also supporting the ICC Core Team as a key member and taking direction from the ICC Core Team Leaders.  The role requires a strong balance of project management, cross-functional collaboration, and HR acumen to drive execution and transparency within the HR function.
 
Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Governance
  • Partner across HR COEs (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Learning & Development, etc.) to align on design decisions tied to the India ICC.
  • Ensure HR workstreams are integrated into the broader ICC project governance and delivery model.
  • Track and monitor HR-related milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
Reporting & Communication
  • Consolidate and organize progress updates from ICC project teams, specifically highlighting HR impacts, timelines, and decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports and presentations back to HR leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Act as a single point of contact for HR-related updates within the ICC program.
Core Team Participation
  • Serve as an active member of the India ICC Core Team, contributing HR expertise and insights to broader project discussions.
  • Ensure that HR considerations are incorporated into enterprise-wide design, decision-making, and implementation planning.
Change & Stakeholder Management
  • Support change management and communication efforts to help HR and business stakeholders understand the role of the ICC.
  • Build strong relationships with global HR leaders and functional partners to ensure adoption of new processes and ways of working.
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP, etc.) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, Project Management, or HR Program Management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and experience coordinating across multiple HR COEs.
  • Proven project management skills, including planning, tracking, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence and collaborate across geographies and levels of the organization.
  • Experience in global HR initiatives, shared services, or capability center builds a strong plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
