Job Title: Claims Admin Support Spec Int
Duration: 6 months (Possible contract to hire)
Location: Oxford, MS 38665 (Onsite)
Shift Schedule: 8AM - 5 PM CST, Mon- Friday
Position Summary:
Performs routine but varied clerical duties in accordance with standard procedures under direct supervision. Duties and tasks are standardized. Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels.
Top must-have skills / Candidate Requirements:
- Familiar with how to use Outlook, Teams and Word (very little will be used).
- Customer Service Face to face.
- Interpersonal communication skills (need someone who can be empathetic and sincere as the filers coming into the office have had a total loss (car, house, etc).
- Ability to Multitask.
- Organizational skills.
- Adapt Quickly and learn process and programs.
Day to day Responsibilities
- Liaison between customer and company’s filer.
- Total loss paperwork, titles.
- Give payment checks to customers.
- Order Police reports.
- Draft letters to be sent out to the customers.
- Send and accept FedEx.
- Scan total loss paperwork into files.
- Maintain Office Needs- order supplies, coffee, etc.
What will separate an average candidate vs a great candidate on a resume?
- Someone with Face-to-Face customer service experience.
Degrees or certifications required/Years of overall experience required:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-2 years' experience with face-to-face customer service.
Will the contractor be working independently, or will they be collaborating with team members and/or a manager to complete tasks?
- This contractor will have someone to work with and who will train them; they will also connect with other admins in the region for assistance.
How will performance be measured:
- Loose metric base, at this time, but efficiency and how they interact with staff and others in the office will be important.

Interview Process:
- 1 round of video interview.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
- Interacts by phone and mail with multiple internal and external contacts such as customers, vendors, medical providers, attorneys (plaintiff and defendant), law enforcement agencies, etc.
- Screens and directs telephone calls.
- Maintains and updates office supplies.
- Operates and maintains office equipment such as fax, printing and copying machines.
- Coordinates office shredding with client.
- Conducts document maintenance - creates, retrieves and delivers files, and copies documents.
- May compose routine correspondence.
- Receives and directs visitors; and may resolve routine inquiries.
- Opens sorts and distributes mail (including USPS, FedEx and other delivery companies).
- Other various support duties (may set up meetings, may coordinate record retention, etc).
- May be asked to other duties as needed not represented on this list including additional searches, researching, and reporting as requested by leadership.
- Occasional travel.
Knowledge, Skills/Abilities:
- Working knowledge of office equipment.
- Customer service and follow up skills.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Typical office environment requiring the use of typical office equipment (e.g., computers, phones, etc.). Computer keyboarding, computer monitor and mouse use including reaching forward, grasping, finger and wrist manipulation, and neck bending and turning; near vision is necessary for computer monitor use. If working in an Emerging Workspace, or similar working arrangement, lifting of laptop equipment, files and/or personal belongings weighing 10 lbs. or less is required.
