Actual Title: Organizational Effectiveness Advisor
Location: Calgary preferred, or Edmonton
Duration: 1 year with a potential for extension
Hybrid Model: In-Office (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) Remote (Wednesday & Friday)
Travel: 10% maybe required.
This role plays a pivotal role in shaping how we engage, enable, and evolve our organization through strategic planning, capability development, facilitation and engagement.
We’re looking for a collaborative, creative, and driven individual who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about enabling people and teams to succeed. If you have a background in business, marketing, or change management and 6+ years of experience in talent development, people data & analytics and engagement roles, we want to hear from you!
What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across the Projects organization to design, implement, and facilitate engagements from conception through completion in support of strategic focus areas, including capability development (workshops, lunch and learns, etc.)
- Gather stakeholder input through focus groups, steering committee, surveys, etc., to assess needs and develop recommendations for leadership to enable strategic focus areas, including capability development initiatives
- Collect, review, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to measure progress of initiatives and impact through strategic synthesis, including the development of dashboards and performance indicators through Power BI and Excel
- Coordinate all planning, logistics, facilitation, and content development for engagement events, including presentations, SharePoint content, and digital communications
- Design, maintain, and organize collaboration spaces (e.g., SharePoint, MS Teams, OneDrive), including access permissions and content updates related to initiatives
- Develop recommendations and provide input on leadership and organization-wide communications and reporting on strategic focus initiatives across the Projects organization
Who You Are:
- You have a university degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- You bring 6+ years of experience in roles focused on engagement, organizational effectiveness, or strategic facilitation.
- You are a strong communicator—both written and verbal—with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- You are skilled in workshop design and facilitation, with a knack for creating inclusive and impactful experiences.
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI.
- Certifications in PROSCI, PMP, or Agile methodologies are considered assets.
Working Conditions:
- This is an office-based role, preferred location is Calgary, AB.
-10% travel maybe required
