Position Title:  Manufacturing Technician I
Work Location: 9043 Siempre Viva Road, Suite 100, San Diego, CA 92154
Assignment Duration: 4 months
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary:
Responsible for performing service repair (i.e. testing, verifications and calibrations) of electronic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and decontaminate instruments and ancillary equipment returned from customer sites.

• Prepare and maintain required service documentation.

• Performs service, maintenance, testing, calibration and verifications of instruments following outlined procedures.

• Specifies, requests, and maintains spare part inventory.

• Performs other related duties as required.

• Monitor calibration status of equipment.

Qualification & Experience:

• AA or Technical Training School

• Lean Training with a focus on continuous improvement

• 1-2 Years related experience

• Microsoft Office Skills

• Experience with ERP and CRM systems

• Working knowledge of schematics

• Basic knowledge of standard laboratory procedures, tools and biohazard precautions

• cGMP and ISO exposure, knowledge and experience

Physical Demands:

• Sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

• Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration and/or moderate noise levels.

• Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.

• Safety Shoes with Impact and Compression Protection Must be worn.

• Exposure to blood.
