Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Acton Massachusetts 01720
Duration: 4 Months (with possibility of temp to hire)
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
This will ideally convert to perm if all goes well with performance!
 
Position Overview:

• Under direct supervision, a Warehouse Associate is responsible for the efficient handling of goods and materials within a warehouse.
• This includes receiving, processing, and storing inventory and non-inventory (i.e. paper, labels, items not in ERP), as well as picking and packing sales orders.
• This role is essential for ensuring that products are stored and safely distributed.

 
Responsibilities:

• Processing Shipments:?store incoming inventory.
• Process and package orders accurately.
• Organize and maintain stock, ensuring accuracy.
• Visual Inspect products for defects and damage.
• Keeps the warehouse clean and organized.  Follow all safety regulations.
• Will participate in cycle counts when required.
• Performs other duties as required.

 
Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Must be proficient in English language to read and follow documentation, training materials and communicate (verbal and written) with stakeholders.  

 
Physical Requirements: 

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift and transfer up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods. 
• Perform repetitive tasks.
• Reach above the head. Must be able to follow ergonomic lifting techniques.
• Ability to successfully operate a powered pallet jack or non-powered pallet jack.
