Job Title: Data Analyst
Duration: 3 months
Location: Remote
Position Summary:
Will work with the Data Planning & Engagement team to support financial data initiatives across capital labor, operating cost, and invoice tracking. The role will focus on building automated pipelines and reports, managing financial data flows, and assisting with TCO Documentation and analysis. It bridges business understanding with technical delivery - making it ideal with someone with foundational data skills and an interest in finance, cost modeling, automation and Project Management
This individual will collaborate closely with financial analysts, process leaders, data delivery leaders to ensure accurate, timely data delivery and financial insight generation.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Data & Capital Labor Focus:
- Partner with Client's PMO - Finance, capital planning teams to understand capital labor tracking needs and financial reporting requirements
- Build and maintain automated pipelines to process capital labor data cross projects, cost centers and time reporting systems
- Support integration and automation of invoice, cost tracking, accrual reconciliation processes against various disparate systems and manual processes
- Assist in the creation, documentation, maintenance of TCO Models, tracking and reports for technology and operational investments
Automation and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain repeatable ETL/ELT workflows to consolidate data from multiple systems (ServiceNow, SmartSheets, Conga Novatus, PeopleSoft, etc)
- Build and Enhance financial dashboards and reports to support spend visibility, forecasting and trend analysis
- Identify and automate manual workflows related to invoices, contract and financial reporting of Capital labor
- Analysis & Work Management
- Gather, refine, document requirements and process for financial and operational stakeholders
- support backlog tracking, task coordination and documentation for financial data automation efforts
- track and document assumptions, cost drivers, and inputs to support long-term financial planning.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 Years of experience in data analysis, reporting and data development (Ideally with financial, contracting, Project Management)
- Strong understanding of capital verse operational expenses, labor tracking or project cost reporting
- Proficient in SQL, familiar with python or scripting for data manipulation
- Experience creating or supporting financial reports, dashboards and cost models
- Detail oriented with strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred:
- Total Cost Of Ownership (TCO) Model frameworks
- Experience with ETL Tools, data orchestration platforms, cloud-based analytics (Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery)
- Exposure to Project Management and Financial Systems: JIRA, SmartSheets, ServiceNow, PeopleSoft, Oracle Fusion/FDI
- Understanding of metadata, data lineage, and cataloging
- Agile Project Driven environment
Education:
Degree or equivalent work experience
