Job Description

Position Title: Clinical Quality Administrator
Work Location: Traveling between various clinics in the Phoenix and Tucson areas.
Assignment Duration: Permanent Fulltime
Work Schedule: Full-time, at least 40 hours per week, plus additional hours as needed, including morning, night, or weekend hours
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 2/3 days onsite per week

Position Summary:
  1. Analyzes and evaluates data to identify trends in quality-of-care concerns, clinical incidents, and member complaints. Manage aspects that measure, monitor, and improve the quality of the care and service provided to our members
  2. Manage the day-to-day oversight of clinical incidents and service recovery
  3. Facilitate and drive the following initiatives: Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee and Quality Management Program for our organization
  4. Identify trends, drive root cause analysis, create performance improvement plans and identify projects related to quality assurance
  5. Demonstrate the ability to document information, update goals and quality plans, create appropriate Desk Level Procedures (DLPs), etc.
  6. Identify performance improvement projects which could be systemic issues requiring correction
  7. Maintains and tracks performance improvement activities and deliverables to confirm that the changes brought about through performance improvement activities are maintained
  8. Effectively collaborate with our organization’s Clinical Compliance Officer while overseeing regulatory compliance with regulatory entities
  9. Participate in evaluation of program’s effectiveness both from an internal plan and external provider practice perspective as determined by management
  10. Ability to work with executive leadership in a professional and collaborative role
  11. Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualification & Experience:
  1. 2 years of experience in Healthcare Quality Management
  2. 3-5 years of experience in a clinical healthcare setting
  3. 3 years of performance improvement/quality assurance experience
  4. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, nursing, social work or health related field
  5. Valid Arizona Driver License
  6. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or other quality-related certification
  7. Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft office suite applications
  8. Strong organizational skills
  9. Strong written and verbal communications
  10. Strong PC proficiency
  11. Demonstrated flexibility in responding to the needs of multiple constituencies
  12. Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate interdisciplinary teams
  13. Demonstrated skill in problem analysis, project management, conflict resolution and oral/written presentation
  14. Ability to balance and manage multiple projects
  15. Interpersonal skills that allow for harmonious relationships with providers, members and coworkers
