Location: Edmonton or Calgary
Hybrid Model: In-Office (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) Remote (Wednesday & Friday)
Start Date: Starting September 2025
Travel requirements: 3-5 days per month to BC
Hours: 40 hrs per week

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Project Manager to oversee the facilities scope for a major gas pipeline project in British Columbia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale gas facility programs, including both greenfield and brownfield projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the facilities scope of the project from detailed design through completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders—including regulatory agencies and Indigenous communities—to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor project performance.
- Implement risk management strategies to proactively mitigate project risks.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineering and support staff.
- Foster strong relationships with senior management, external partners, and customers.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Additional Assets (Preferred)
- Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA) or equivalent
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
Required Work Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of project management experience
- Proven track record managing large-scale, multidisciplinary projects, including gas compression facilities
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management, particularly with Indigenous communities and regulatory agencies
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing project budgets
- Strong background in safety leadership, environmental management, and regulatory compliance
