Job Title: Employee Development Specialist
Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension
Location: Huntsville, AL
Multiple Shifts: Candidates need to be flexible (will determine shift time during interview and offer)

Core hours:
- 1st shift – 6 AM -2:30 PM
- 2nd shift – 3 PM -11:30 PM
- 3rd shift –11:30 PM – 5:30/6 AM

Description:

• The Mechanical Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality training programs focused on mechanical skills and certification for technicians involved in the production of mechanical assemblies. 
• This role includes assessing the effectiveness of training content, conducting workplace coaching, and collaborating with business partners to identify and implement performance development opportunities. 
• The instructor will ensure that all training aligns with company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional presence in the classroom and lab settings. 
• Conducts learning requirements analysis and establishes learning objectives. 
• Designs and develops course content and instructional materials. 
• Tests the delivery environment and establishes system access requirements. 
• Delivers content and assesses effectiveness based on learning objectives. 
• Conducts customer workplace coaching sessions to improve individual or group performance. 
• Deploys development tools and monitors implementation and performance outcomes.

Education:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor's) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master's +4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Required experience:

• Mechanical experience.
• Instruction/training experience (leading groups, conducting training courses, building training content, coaching).
