Job Description
Position Title: Packaging Assembler I
Work Location: 445 Simarano Drive, Marlborough, MA, USA, 01752
Assignment Duration: 03 months, extension possible
Work Schedule: 7A-330P (with some flexibility)
Position Summary: Under general supervision, dismantle, adjust, rework, repair, and perform packaging of equipment according to assembly drawings, schematics, and procedures with a general understanding of compliance requirements.
Background & Context: Responsible for maintaining quality & safety standards and Operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and verify packaging components.
- Perform instrument packaging in a safe & timely fashion per procedures or technical documents.
- Complete and maintain quality and packaging documentation as required.
- Comply with, participate in, and maintain 6S events and follow-ups.
- Maintain and/or participate in daily management boards (if applicable).
- Assists with/completes inventory transactions.
- Initiates proper disposition of defective parts using NCE process.
- Accountable for inventory accuracy.
- Accountable for daily completion of NCE process.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Perform equipment maintenance as required.
- Understand and comply with all work safety rules and regulations.
- Participate in cross-training to meet schedule needs.
- Work on special projects as requested.
- Ability to work overtime to meet production schedule as needed.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: At least 1+ years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
- Skills:
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) knowledge a plus.
- Basic Knowledge of ORACLE and AGILE application preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, soldering, multi-meter, and oscilloscope.
- Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, procedures, and schematics.
- Ability to follow written procedures to maintain GMP compliance and ISO 13485 certification.
- Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Outlook. Knowledge of Excel is preferred.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
- Detail oriented and accurate.
- Physical Demands:
- Sit; use hands or fingers, to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Lifting/pushing/pulling and carrying products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Potential exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and/or moderate noise levels.
- Potential exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.
- Safety Shoes compliant with site-specific policies/procedures must be worn in designated areas.

- Pallet jacks/riders and forklifts NOT required.
