Title: Cloud DevOps Engineer

Duration: 6+ months Contract (possible extension)

Location: Montreal or Toronto (Hybrid, no set days to be in the office)

What is the minimum education requirement?

• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience

 

Qualification

• As a DevOps Engineer at Client, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our development process, enhancing system reliability, and ensuring the scalability and security of our infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Experience leading and shipping large scope DevOps infrastructure projects (i.e., CI/CD, automation, IaC)
• Proficiency with cloud-based infrastructure and services (Azure or AWS)
• Expertise with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Solid expertise in Python or similar scripting language
• Experience with Orchestration tools (e.g., Jenkins)
• Solid Git/GitHub expertise
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and across engineering teams
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK)
• Familiarity with virtualization/containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
• Experience with artifact and package management systems (e.g., Artifactory, NuGet, Conan)
