Job Description
Job Title: Picking and Receiving Specialist I
Location: West Lebanon, New Hampshire
Duration: 12 weeks
Schedule: Normal business hours, Monday-Friday 8:00 to 5:00 PM
Top Must Have Skills:
• General warehouse work moving boxes, ability to lift and move.
• Computer Skills
• Answer door
• Organize and sort packages
• Apply labels
• Breakdown cardboard boxes
• Discard plastic and foam packages
Purpose
At the direction of the Materials Supervisor and Sr. Warehouse team members this job will perform all aspects of warehousing requirements for NNUSBPI regarding the General Warehouse and Cold Storage, functioning as part of a high-performance work team.
Essential Functions
• Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
• Maintain warehouse organization.
• Maintain general supplies in multiple storage areas.
• Assist with physical inventory to include cycle counts.
• Maintain up to date training status.
• Incorporate the client Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others.
Physical Requirements
• The ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and walk.
• The ability to push, pull, lift, finger, and grasp.
• The ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal and written communication.
• Repetition including substantial movement of wrists, hands, and or fingers.
• Lifting up to 33lbs/15kg of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Visual acuity to perform close activities such as: reading, writing, and analyzing; and to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations.
• Ability to distinguish colors.
• Corrected vision to 20/30.
• The working environment includes a variety of physical conditions, working in narrow aisles, and temperature changes.
Education Qualifications and Certifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience:
• 1-3 years applicable work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to read, write legibly, and understand all department documentation.
• Ability to acquire an understanding of the risks inherent to the processing, handling and storage of hazardous materials.
• Basic math skills including knowledge of metric system.
• Computer experience including Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to follow direction.
• Ability to be precise and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to adapt to GMP environment.
