Job Title: Picker 
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Memphis, TN 38141
Shift: 2:00 AM to 10:30 AM (30 mins lunch time), Mon-Fri
 
Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; or in lieu of education, at least 2+ years of previous warehouse or similar industry experience is required
• Basic computer and math skills preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and be able to lift 50lbs
• Previous distribution experience is preferred
• Previous experience in a cold chain environment a plus

 
Responsibilities:

• Use a RF scanner and pushcart to pick product from shelves and place into containers. Product could be stored in ambient, cool room or freezer locations. Associate could be rotated between different departments based upon business need.
• Verify package contents are correct and then place ice, dunnage, gel packs, etc. as needed into container, before taping container shut and placing container on shipping line.
• Fill out inventory issue forms when expected product location is not valid (wrong part, no supply, etc.).
• Work with inventory team to identify product locations.
• Perform housekeeping (recycle/track pick-up) duties as needed.
• Training others.
• Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Use of PPE required for the job task (vest, steel toed shoes, body harness, gloves, etc.).
• Willing to work Overtime with little or same day notice.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
