About the Role:
Client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Electrical Designer to join its Design Engineering Group. You will be responsible for designing and developing electrical and mechanical systems primarily for gas, oil, and dual fuel burner products.

Client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Electrical Designer to join its Design Engineering Group. You will be responsible for designing and developing electrical and mechanical systems primarily for gas, oil, and dual fuel burner products.
- Create detailed electrical and mechanical designs for industrial burner systems and control panels.
- Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, gas/oil train piping, panel layouts, and field connection drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
- Design and integrate electrical control systems ensuring alignment with mechanical components.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Sales teams to develop specifications and implement designs.
- Generate and compile product manuals for submittal and final product delivery.
- Maintain CAD models, engineering documentation, and participate in design reviews.
- Ensure all designs comply with electrical codes and safety standards.
- 3–5 years of experience in electrical design and at least 1 year in mechanical design, ideally within the HVAC industry
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor for developing technical drawings and schematics.
- Solid understanding of electrical control systems, automation, and instrumentation.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including macros for automation and reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and compliance standards.
- Ability to work fully onsite in an engineering office environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Electrical background preferred with mechanical exposure).
- Fluency in German (Highly Preferred)
- Experience in the burner industry
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality, compliant work
