Position Title: Wiring Harness Technician
Location: Culver City, CA 100% Onsite
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Work Hours: Full-time, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are seeking a hands-on Wiring Technician to support the setup of internal QA test harnesses. This role is ideal for candidates with low-voltage wiring experience, strong technical documentation skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Top 3 Must-Have Skills
- Low-voltage wiring and harness assembly – including cutting, crimping, soldering, terminating, and routing wires (e.g., Cat 6, 22 gauge).
- Tool proficiency – crimpers, wire strippers, multimeters, and soldering tools (SMT and through-hole).
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
Nice-to-Have Skills (Based on Winning Candidate)
- J-STD-001 Certification or similar.
- Experience with access control systems, cameras, or network installations (RJ45, keystones, etc.).
- Familiarity with Linux or Mac terminal environments.
- Experience with QA tools like Test Rails or manual testing procedures.
- Aerospace, avionics, or electronics manufacturing background.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Build and install test wiring harnesses for internal QA.
- Cut and run Cat 6 and other low-voltage wires to devices/cutting cat 6 wire and wiring to devices.
- Perform basic testing (continuity, low-voltage).
- Document wire movements and inventory using Google Sheets.
- Use Jira and Google Workspace for task tracking and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and QA teams.
- Running wire, cutting wire, wiring setup.
- May have to run test
- Ability to read and follow wire harness assembly instructions
- Experience working with access control or cameras is a plus.
- Terminal experience is a plus because they can have them run test if needed. Terminal experience means someone with Linux terminal experience, Mac terminal experience is also acceptable
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience with wiring and harness assembly.
- Ability to read and follow basic wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs with assistance).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Must pass a full drug panel screening (safety-sensitive role).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Certified technician with experience in wiring harness assembly and low-voltage testing.
- Skilled in soldering, crimping, and routing wires.
- Comfortable working from technical documentation.
- Familiar with Cat 6, RJ45, and network cabling.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Available to work onsite and start within 2 weeks.
