Job Title: LAN Administrator
Location: Salt Lake City, UT 
Duration: 12 months
 
Job Duties Description:

• Client is looking for a LAN administrator contractor in Salt Lake City, Utah
• Under general supervision, this role provides support and maintenance of computer hardware and software.
• Troubleshoots PC and Local Area Network problems.
• Is responsible for working in multi-platform environments with multiple business areas. Will assist with end user support and answering support tickets.

 
Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Experience with mobile workforce and data communications.
• Technical knowledge and experience with computer hardware, software applications and operating systems
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN network protocols
• Ability to work on technically complicated systems with little supervision.
• Ability to analyze principles of computer and software systems to interpret and solve problems.
• Basic familiarity with Office365
• Ability to lift or move up to thirty-five pounds.
• Ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
• Ability to be courteous to co-workers and customers, follow directions from supervisors and refrain from abusive or profane language.
• Ability to respond to multiple customer and employee/contractor requests or demands and manages workload by wisely prioritizing his or her tasks often and adjusting to the situation at hand.

 
Certification required:

• Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive
• CompTIA A+ or MCSE Desktop Infrastructure certification

 
Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams

Required Years of Experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a LAN administrator

Education:

• Minimum of associate’s degree
