Job Description

Job Title - Senior Document Management Lead
Duration: 12 Months
Work Location: Houston, TX (77001)

Responsibilities:
  • Takes direction from project management and help with implementation and maintenance of the project document management system and procedures.
  • Help with planning and carry out document management duties in the Home Office. Communicates work processes in a training environment to the team and project users.
  • Demonstrates communication skills such as conducting effective meetings, communicating goals, and delegating.
  • Effectively manages and assigns tasks to document management leads and technicians.
  • Utilizes the standard Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), Aconex to register, control, distribute, transmit, file and archive project records.
  • Ensures project schedules are met with regards to processing documents.
  • Generates and provides status reports, tracking logs and performance metrics to the management team.
  • Works closely with the Jobsite teams to ensure seamless coordination and support to the project team as well as transition of document management tasks.
  • Utilizes latest innovative technologies to improve document management tasks to achieve efficiency

Basic Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years document management/record retention experience is desired
  • Focus on quality and safety in all aspects of work environment
  • Mastery of an ECMS (Aconex is preferred) at an advanced level and demonstrated knowledge of administrative skills and automated applications such as Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and to accuracy.
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Experience in a similar leadership role of more than 4-5 years
  • Ability to delegate work appropriately to manage workload
  • Sophisticated written and oral communication skills
  • Must possess and demonstrate ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high energy, team environment.
  • Willingness to get involved with overall project document management activities where required. Ability to handle multiple tasks.
