Job Title: Analytical Chemist - Level 1
Location: Lincoln, NE 68462
Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of extension depending upon business requirements and performance)
Job Description:
- This role will provide analytical and chemistry skills to the Quality/Supply Chain networks to improve the quality and safety of client products, also supports AS&T in resolving impurity and other chemistry-related issues.
Technical:
- Works under direction of supervisor or upper-level scientists to conduct lab experiments.
- Perform analytical lab work for trace impurity analysis.
- Contributes input and ideas to generate solutions to work-related chemistry problems.
- Assists with determination of the root causes for drug degradation and impurities.
- Provides input for procedures and other documents.
Teamwork:
- Communicates project status and outcomes to Product Chemistry team and AS&T customers.
- Participates in Product Chemistry problem-solving teams.
Compliance:
- Adheres to applicable GxP processes and procedures, data integrity requirements, and good documentation practices.
- Maintains all training requirements for assigned activities.
- Complies with EHS requirements and AS&T safety procedures.
Support:
- Assists with validation and maintenance of lab equipment required for the job.
