Job Description:
- We are looking for a proactive and organized Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our team. The role sits within Strategy & Analytics Organization and is part of Clients broader marketing and analytics structure. The candidate will support a group of decision scientists (DS) within the Family of Apps (FOA).
Responsibilities:
- Organizational Management: Bring order to the team's activities by organizing tasks and priorities, ensuring that all team members are aligned and working efficiently.
- Project Management: Oversee day-to-day project management within the GSD, Meta’s project management tool, ensuring that all business outcomes and their associated tasks are completed on time and within scope. This includes tracking progress, managing timelines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Communicate Progress: Provide ongoing visibility to progress and delivery to the working teams, managers, and leadership.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and facilitate efficient and effective meetings, ensuring all necessary stakeholders are present and informed. Take comprehensive notes to capture key discussions and action items.
- Data Management: Pull relevant data and compile it into presentations for leadership, ensuring that insights are clear and actionable.
- Resource Utilization: Monitor and manage resource utilization across teams, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
- Risk Tracking and Management: Keep track of potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Stay proactive in identifying and addressing issues before they escalate.
- Agile Practices: Where appropriate, transition to a sprint-based approach that includes running sprint reviews and stand-up meetings, and fostering an agile environment that encourages continuous improvement and collaboration.
Must-Have Skills:
- Google sheets, google stack, slides docs
- Agile background – project management tools asana, JIIRA
- Working understanding or marketing and analytics, partnering closely with decision scientists, skilled at understanding the nature of the work documenting and communicating
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Internally meta tooling GSD, TASKS, workplace chat, some other recognize project management tools
