Location: Arecibo, PR
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $14.44 / Hourly
Purpose:
The Electronics/Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for maintaining and calibrating electronic and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. The technician will troubleshoot and repair calibration equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability in testing and measurement processes. The role is essential for supporting the technical needs of the organization and contributing to continuous improvement in calibration operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform calibration and maintenance of electronic and instrumentation systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment related to the calibration process.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 17025, ISO 9001, and ANSI/NCSL Z540.
- Support the overall functionality of testing and measurement systems across various technical processes.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in a technical field such as Industrial Instrumentation or Electronics with at least 3 years of experience in calibration instrumentation and troubleshooting related to the calibration process OR 5 years of experience in a technical field.
- Experience in Electronics is required.
- Experience in Instrumentation is a plus.
- Desirable certifications in Electronics and/or Instrumentation.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 17025, ISO 9001, and ANSI/NCSL Z540.
