Job Description
As a Workday HRIS Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing the Workday HRIS platform. You will be responsible for ensuring the system is configured, maintained, and aligned with business requirements to improve HR processes. You will collaborate with the business to implement system updates, troubleshoot issues, and provide data insights through reporting and analytics.

Payroll Specific
Key Responsibilities:
- Workday System Administration:
- Administer and configure Workday modules, including Core HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Management, Learning, and Benefits.
- Perform regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Manage system security roles and permissions in alignment with HR policies and organizational needs.
- System Enhancements & Updates:
- Participate in Workday release management and the testing of new features, updates, and patches.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, collaborating with internal teams or Workday support when necessary.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Develop, maintain, and distribute customized reports and dashboards in Workday using the Workday reporting tools.
- User Support & Training:
- Provide ongoing support for system users, including troubleshooting user issues and providing solutions.
- Create user guides, documentation, and training materials for HR teams and end users.
- Data Management & Integrity:
- Maintain and monitor employee data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure HR data processes adhere to privacy, security, and compliance regulations.
- Support data migration and system integration efforts when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Workday, specifically in HRIS analysis, configuration, or support.
- Experience in multiple Workday modules such as Core HR, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, and Benefits is preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and workflows.
- Experience in JIRA for ticket management
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Workday reporting tools and a master in Excel.
- Familiarity with Workday integrations and data management.
- Knowledge of HRIS data structures and how to leverage them for reporting.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Payroll Specific
- Payroll Processing: Manage and process payroll for US employees using Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- ADP Tax Services: Implement and coordinate with ADP for tax filings, including quarterly reconciliations, amendments, and resolving tax notices.
- Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory and legislative changes to ensure payroll processes comply with all relevant tax laws.
- Reporting: Prepare and review payroll reports, ensuring all payroll-related data is accurate and up-to-date.
- System Integration: Utilize the ADP Tax Filing Connector to ensure seamless integration between Workday and ADP for timely and accurate tax filings
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies, providing clear explanations of pay calculations and adjustments.
- Process Improvement: Analyze and recommend modifications to existing payroll processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Skills: Proficiency in Workday and ADP tax services, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
