Job Description

Job Title: Program Support Specialist
Duration: 3 months
Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: 8:30am - 5:30pm (EST or CST)
Some later shifts are expected every week, up to 6pm CST.


Professional Summary:
Under the general direction of the Manager – Customer & Quality Services, responsible for creating a seamless Prior Authorization experience for Company customers.

Duties:
  • Learns how to navigate and perform tasks within FEW (Company's fax service).
  • Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing Prior Authorizations by following team standards/procedures.
  • Acts as an inquisitive member of the team when unclear on instructions.
  • Keeps a daily list of responsibilities, organized from highest to lowest priority.
  • Completes assigned tasks efficiently and on time.
  • Presents ideas and solutions to streamline the build process or deliver a better experience for our prescribers.
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) over back end Prior Authorization build processes.
  • The goal is that the role can speak knowledgeably and confidently about our abilities within the software. 
  • Learns how to navigate company software and takes a proactive approach to learning the Prior Authorization build process.
Skills:
  • Enjoys problem solving.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Flexible and can multi-task; can work with a changing list of priorities.
  • Ability to ask for feedback and a drive to improve.
  • Medical industry experience a plus.
