Job Title: Senior Manager, P&C Digital Solutions Delivery (Workday)
Department: P&C Operations
Duration/hours: 6 months and 20-30 hours a week. 
Location: 
Vancouver (Remote)

Job Reports to: Director, Digital Strategy & Innovation
BASIC INFORMATION:
Objectives of the department / function in which the job operates: 
The objective of the Digital team is to transform, optimize and sustain P&C capabilities by designing Digital experiences 
which are simple, scalable and signature. 
The scope / responsibilities for the role above (direct manager) and the roles below (direct reports, if applicable):
Reports into: Director, Digital Strategy & Innovation 
The Director of Digital Strategy & Innovation is responsible for enabling the digital transformation and maturation of the 
P&C Capabilities required to fuel a $15M business and elevating the employee experience lifecycle for our global  workforce. 
Direct Reports: Managers, Digital Delivery 
The mandate of the Manager is to oversee a delivery team of Sr Business Analysts, Business Analysts, Sr Functional 
Analysts and Functional Analysts to deliver a specific functional portfolio within the Digital Portfolio such as HCM/Hiring, 
Talent Acquisition, Talent Activation & Learning or Health & Wealth. They are responsible for the development of their  people, prioritization and resourcing of the work within the portfolio, resolving escalations (or further escalating to leadership) and ensuring the on-time, quality delivery of simple, scalable and signature solutions which will enable P&C to 
scale. 
JOB MANDATE:
The mandate of the Senior Manager, Digital Solutions is to oversee the P&C Digital delivery team to deliver on all global Digital People Systems enhancements, sustainment, and transformation projects to enable the day-to-day business needs and fuel the growth of the business in the most efficient and strategic way possible. They own ensuring that the HR people systems infrastructure is healthy, runs effective global workflows, provides a reliable single source of truth for workforce data, while working towards delivering a simple, scalable and signature employee experience. 
 
They own the prioritization for all global business requests and will be the Digital leader to partner and work with all business stakeholders who have submitted a request through global P&C Digital & Technology Intake. Their portfolio involves a high degree of complexity, cross functional stakeholders, and balancing of multiple business dynamics simultaneously. In order to maximize output, they are accountable for developing the structure, training and tools to enable a powerhouse, highly efficient Digital Solutions team who are thriving in their work and lives.

• Reporting on delivery sprints including insights on what is working and areas for improvement
• People Systems product road maps and backlog prioritization
• P&C Solution workflow and data quality enhancements
• Training documents
• Requirements documents for configuration changes in scope for IT
• Answers to Tier 2 enquiries about people processes in P&C Technology Solutions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee, lead and develop team of 20-40 including: Managers, Sr Business Analysts, Business Analysts, Senior Functional Analysts and Functional Analysts
• Own the vision, strategy and road map for P&C Digital Solutions that balances the delivery of new capabilities, fixes and enhancements to existing capabilities to support organization/department strategies
 • Accountable for ensuring all People Systems product road maps are leveraged to optimize delivery and the employee experience
• Leadership liason to all cross functional business partners who have submitted requests to the global intake (incl. providing education, consultation, negotiation & recommendations)
• Coach direct reports on development of P&C Technology functional requirements and configuration activities
Incorporate the voice of the customer (employee) into P&C Technology solution design to ensure all design delivers the optimal workforce experience 
• Approve P&C Technology configuration work prior to launch
• Manage UAT and experience testing activities and auditing to ensure smooth rollouts and data integrity
• Partner with P&C COE, Digital & Technology Managers to ensure all workstreams are in sync (incl. management of escalations of varying severity to ensure quick resolution)
• Produce recurring reporting for sprints, quarters and annual performance of the P&C Digital Delivery team.

• Responsible for P&C Digital enhancements prioritization
• Approve System Configuration Changes

Budget Responsibilities:
Manage team contractor opex.
Manage team baseline budget e.g. expenses 
Number of Direct Reports:
4 direct reports / 20-30 people in team. 

SUPPORT ACTIVITIES 
• Advise Product Managers in building out solution design for their products

OB REQUIREMENTS

Academic / Educational:
[Optional] Undergraduate in HR and/or Certification in HRIS 

Required Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in an HR Technology function with a focus on data, system and process 
optimization and the enablement of people programs
• 5+ years working in a people leadership role 
• 5+ years experience with Workday HCM (HRIS); Avature (ATS), Docebo (LMS) experience not required but ideal
• Experience successfully identifying and leading mindset, people, process and technology initiatives to drive transformational change 
• Experience as primary project manager and design lead for multiple complex HR Technology initiatives
• Advanced ability to work collaboratively with and enroll multiple stakeholders within and outside of People & Culture
• Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
• Experience working in high intensity, fast paced environments and crisis management
• Experience in overseeing / orchestrating a complex Digital Solutions project independently and demonstrating very high levels of organization, communication, and root cause problem solving skills
• Proven facilitation and executive communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Very strong analytical skills
