Job Title: Project Manager IV
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Fremont, CA
Summary:
The client’s IT Supply Chain is responsible for fulfilling all internal end-user IT needs. We build integrated, scalable, and robust processes and systems to manage planning & inventory life cycles. We are currently looking for an experienced, insightful, individual to help define, build, manage, and measure global asset management. The successful candidate must be forward-thinking with a strong ability to design and execute products that power the enterprise. You will play a key role in reimagining efficiency by shipping transformative products and processes that serve diverse aspects of the enterprise.
Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of cross-functional activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement supply chain process and system solutions to improve asset management operations focusing on scalability, efficiency, and automation.
• Lead transformation programs to identify process inefficiencies, gather business requirements and user stories, and partner with engineering teams to manage project deliverables, testing, implementation, training, and post-live support.
• Design, build, and maintain metrics reporting and dashboards that contain actionable metrics to monitor the logistics service.
• Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.
• Capture data from team findings of analyzing technology, resource needs, and business processes to justify the solutions
• Independently conduct value stream mapping or workflow mapping to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, and develop detailed project plans to address these opportunities with action owner, timeline, and deliverables.
• Conduct analysis to make business recommendations and justify business proposals
• Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision-makers and with the wider enterprise organization.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, or findings to report to stakeholders.
Skills:
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
• Strong program management skillsets.
• Deep and broad supply chain knowledge with the ability to map out the process clearly and identify gaps/opportunities.
• ERP and/or supply chain system implementation experience.
• Analytical skills with the ability to use data to tell a story.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• PMI or PMP certification preferred.
• 8+ years in supply chain or operations experience, with a focus on planning, inventory management, and forward and reverse logistics, including Program Management experience, in defining, implementing, and deploying Supply Chain solutions (processes/business models, tools, management of change) across Supply Chain functions.
• Strong knowledge of process mapping and business case development, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, Lucid Chart, Task management systems, etc.
