Telemetry Experience and Reading EKG s Ability to handle a fast paced unit with several admissions, discharges, transfers, procedures, etc. Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Sets priorities and modifies patient care in response to changing conditions by utilizing problem solving skills and exhibiting good judgment. Makes appropriate and timely notification to physicians on patient condition changes List typical procedures performed on unit(s): PD EKG s Most cardiac procedures are done in the Cath Lab not on the unit Best personality Fit: Team player Positive REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS & ACLS Floating Area(s): Med Surg- low probability of floating Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - navy Weekends and On call: Every 3rd Friday and Sat 7p-7a plus and additional Friday or Sat (7p-7a) each schedule.
