Job Description

Job Title:Engineer Software Level 4Countries: IndiaInterviews: 3-4 rounds (Technical, System Design, Behavioral)On-Call Requirements: Yes, 12hr shifts alternating with onshore contractors(11PM-7AM PST), including weekends.Software Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and systems following best practices and coding standards. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver innovative and user-friendly solutions. Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring code quality and maintainability. Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner. Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to the improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.Designs at the solution level, considering up/downstream integration.Analyzes and deconstructs complex systems, platforms and processeses.Identifies and implements automation where possible in order to streamline the delivery of product services and drive measurable outcomes.Able to make technical tradeoffs between short term needs and long term business needs in consideration of design, component choice, databases or systems.Takes ownership of systems or designs that span multiple people's work, breaking work into smaller tasks for more junior engineers to support.Champions new techniques across the organization.Describes detailed system interactions with direct dependencies.Time horizon for design considerations is the current product cycle, up to 120 days., Education: Bachelor's Degree in computer science or software engineering or relevant experience.
