Job Title: Operations Advisor
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Intent to Convert to FTE)
Schedule: Preference for 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Operations Advisor to support business and operational initiatives within a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires a candidate with strong operational expertise, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience working in MessagePoint for content development and template creation.
The ideal candidate will provide operational leadership on complex assignments, support business processes, coordinate timely project delivery, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Build and manage content within MessagePoint (Required)

Create and maintain EOB (Explanation of Benefits) templates in MessagePoint (Required)

Lead and support operational initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of assigned projects

Apply strong problem-solving skills to resolve business and operational challenges

Coordinate and manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations (Project Management / Delivery experience required)

Support business processing, reporting, service levels, and operational documentation

Prepare and review business-related statements, operational documents, and reporting materials

Partner with internal stakeholders and senior leadership on operational improvements and initiatives

Gather results and prepare reports for internal and external distribution

Act as a subject matter expert for operational processes and content delivery
Required Qualifications
-
2+ years of experience in Operations, Business Operations, Finance Operations, or related environment

Hands-on MessagePoint experience (MANDATORY – candidates without MessagePoint experience will not be considered)

Experience building content in MessagePoint

Experience creating EOB templates / Explanation of Benefits communications

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Project management / project coordination experience focused on timely delivery (PMP not required)

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Bachelor’s Degree OR Diploma/GED with equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare, insurance, or payer industry experience

Experience with member communications, claims communication, document composition, or Customer Communication Management (CCM) tools

Exposure to reporting, process improvement, and operational workflow optimization
