Job Description
Job Title: Program Analyst
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 5 months
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Program Manager to establish stable Plan of Record (POR) with respect to Project estimation, planning, schedule, resource estimation
• Support planning/scheduling under supervision of Program Manager and Engineering leads: develop and maintain program master schedules and milestones, budgets, work plans and resource requirements.
• Prepare program status reports. Escalation to Program Manager or Engineering leads if variance occurs
• Developing and managing processes, procedures, and tools designed to increase the productivity of a project.
• Troubleshooting simple processes or technology.
• Supports process compliance by following best practices and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or related field OR Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant work experience OR High School diploma with 4 years of relevant experience.
• In addition, 2-3 years Program Analyst experience or related work experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft applications (MS Office including Word, Excel, PPT, MS Project and Visio), strong computer expertise, and the ability to learn new applications and technologies rapidly.
• Must have strong Excel skills, especially with formulas, pivot tables, macros to extract data from multiple sources, vlookups, graphs, etc.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, JIRA, Microsoft Project Planning, Tableau, ThoughtSpot and other equivalent data analytics and program management tools.
• Experience understanding and working with technical concepts
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to operate in team environments.
