Job Title: Field Service Technician I 
Schedule: Mon-Fri 9-6 with an On-Call Rotation once deemed ready. • Will there be OC (on call)? Yes • Will there be shift differentials? No
Duration: 3 months (Contract to hire)
Location: Idaho Falls, ID 83402

Description:

• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
• Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed. Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
• May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and entry level - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.

• Is this position remote or in person? Remote Field Dispatch
• What will the primary day-to-day responsibilities entail for this person? Local Travel required for daily dispatch, Driver's License, Reliable Vehicle, Must pass a Drug Test & Background Check.
• Experience with printer maintenance and POS systems is preferred but not necessary.
• Must be able to complete self-directed training and have independent time management skills.
• What are the TOP 2 required skills that candidates must have? 1) Must have above-average/excellent customer services skills, being able to maintain those skills under pressure. 2) Must be able to communicate well and often  How many overall years of experience should this person have? Preferably 2 but not necessary
• Do they need any specific certifications or education? A+ or Lexmark certifications are preferred but not required.
• A+ certification required within 6 months of conversion.
• If contract to hire what is the conversion rate? $20/hr, with an increase to $21/hr minimum if required certifications have been obtained upon conversion
• How many miles per day will the contractor be driving? 50-100
• What radius range should candidates be located from the job location? 50
