Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Shift: The role is remote, but the candidate must work East Coast hours.
Candidates in other time zones are acceptable only if they commit to EST work hours.

Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Supply Chain Manager to support the launch of a new Raw Material Center on the East Coast. This remote role requires someone who can work Eastern Time Zone hours and bring strong expertise in demand planning, forecasting, metrics tracking, and inventory analysis. The ideal candidate will have SAP experience (T-code navigation) and familiarity with RapidResponse (Kinaxis) — both are highly preferred. Candidates should also be proficient in Excel and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience is the target benchmark, though equivalent experience without a degree will be considered. Biopharma background is not required — candidates with applicable supply chain experience from other industries are welcome.
 
About the Role
  • We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to support the launch and ongoing operations of a newly established Raw Material Center (RMC) on the East Coast.
  • This is a strategic and highly visible role focused on ensuring raw material readiness, supply continuity, and planning excellence.
  • While the position is remote, the selected candidate must be available to work during Eastern Time Zone business hours.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and procure raw materials and devices required for the RMC.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support raw material procurement and readiness.
  • Perform Change Control Assessments on Supplier Change Notifications.
  • Ensure all master data related to planning and sourcing is accurately maintained for raw materials.
  • Lead and manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Influence and align internal stakeholders toward common goals to ensure consistent supply assurance.
  • Lead demand planning, forecasting, and inventory movement analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and timely supply chain metrics.
  • Maintain excellent communication lines across demand and supply sources.
  • Collaborate with quality, finance, process development, and other internal functions.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and KPI dashboards to support planning decisions.
  • Present recommendations and insights to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, in alignment with the company’s Values and Leadership Attributes.
  • Responsible for balancing supply and demand within Global Raw Material organization supply chain, ensure timely product availability and meet customer needs.
  • Manage global raw material inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate various supply chain activities.
 
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • (Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
  • Strong background in materials management, procurement, inventory, and demand planning
 
Basic Qualifications   
  • Doctorate degree or Master’s degree and 2 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience or Associate’s degree and 8 years of experience or High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in SAP (T-code navigation required)
  • Experience with RapidResponse (Kinaxis) is highly desirable
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Smartsheet knowledge is a plus, but not required
