Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Work Location: Bayard, IA
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Work Schedule: NIGHTS - 12HR: Must be available for weekdays and weekends as assigned.
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary:
• Unit Description: Please confirm location with talent prior to submission - this location is in a remote area Position: RN Department Details: Inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for 18+ ages.
• Must be able to do CIWA/COWS, UAs and be able to set/hold firm empathic boundaries
Key Responsibilities:
• Inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for 18+ ages
• Must be able to do CIWA/COWS, UAs and be able to set/hold firm empathic boundaries
• Nurse/Patient ratio: 1 nurse on night shift; For the 7p-11p of the shift there are 2-3 BHA (techs) on shift. 11p-7 there is 1 tech on shift.
• Voluntary patients, no restraints, Admin on call and Doctor on call at all times, no on-site security.
• Visiting hours are Sundays 1-4p.
• Orientation is 2-3 days of 12 hour shifts training until comfortable.
• Shift: 3-12 hour shifts, Must be available for weekdays and weekends as assigned.
Qualification & Experience:
• Required Certifications: BLS
• Required Experience: 12 months of prior experience
• Preferred experience: Psych exp
• # Beds: 50 (20 female/30 male)
• EMR: HCS - electronic
• Dress Code: Scrubs
