Position Title: Analytical Scientist Work Location: Lexington, MA 02421 Assignment Duration: 12 Months
Position Summary: Our client is looking for an Analytical Scientist to join the Manufacturing Sciences - Analytical group. The Analytical Scientist will provide analytical support to manufacturing sciences upstream and downstream.
Background & Context: The Analytical Scientist will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams for assay transfers, troubleshooting, and establishing assays.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide analytical support for upstream and downstream manufacturing science labs.
Perform analytical assays for in-process samples in non-GMP environment.
Maintain electronic lab notebook and report data in a timely manner.
Work with matrix teams for assay transfer and troubleshooting assays.
Write documents and reports to present findings in meetings.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 1+ years of relevant experience.
Hands-on experience with multiple analytical techniques used in biologics characterization, including ELISA, qPCR, or potency assays.
Experience with HPLC/UPLC and capillary electrophoresis methods, such as titer, SEC, RP, CE-SDS, or iCIEF, is preferred.
Experience with method transfer, qualification, or validation is a plus.
Experience with monoclonal antibodies or other protein therapeutics in a mammalian-cell bioprocessing environment is preferred.
