You will be given high responsibility and significant opportunities for career growth based on your motivation and capabilities.
Competently perform conventional aspects of structural engineering analysis and design under general supervision.
Develop judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria with guidance.
Build problem-solving skills and develop knowledge of lateral analysis and design (wind and seismic) principles, including applying relevant building code provisions.
Proactively seek guidance or confirmation from senior engineers when complex questions arise.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality control across all work deliverables.
Perform self-checks on calculations and participate in checking the work of peers.
Take full ownership of assigned structural scope, reliably meeting schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
Exercise initiative to clarify expectations and determine project needs when assigned tasks with ill-defined conditions.
Clearly define your scope of work and estimate the level of effort required to complete tasks.
Identify scope changes promptly and escalate them to the Structural Lead.
