Position Title: Lab Technician / Assistant Work Location: Tucson AZ Assignment Duration: 12 months Shift: Mon - Fri 7AM - 4PM PST Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary: • The Lab Technician / Assistant II is responsible for the maintenance and servicing of diagnostic laboratory equipment and slide scanning systems • The Lab Technician / Assistant II Lab Assistant/Technician responsible form maintaining and servicing diagnostics lab equipment or slide scanningKey
Responsibilities: • Support laboratory experiments and research activities • Prepare lab materials and samples for testing • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards • Assist with data collection and documentation • Maintain lab inventory and equipment
Qualification & Experience: • Previous experience with equipment maintenance • Experience with hand tools • High attention to detail • Experience with Excel or Google sheets • Technical aptitude, including previous experience maintaining/servicing diagnostics or lab equipment • Strong interpersonal skills, including experience in customer service dealing with the direct public (e.g., retail, restaurant, banking, or other service field) • Strong capacity for handling simultaneous projects while strategically prioritizing critical tasks. • 2–5 years of experience • Strong problem-solving skills • Excellent communication abilities • Knowledge of industry best practices
Preferred (Optional) • Experience in research or diagnostic laboratories preferred
