The Quality Technician I is responsible for supporting the business with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers. A critical function is to provide inspection support as well as process improvements to sustain and improve product quality.
Works with the team to provide audits and inspections on product quality according to Zebra's quality-assurance processes.
Assists with conducting nonconforming materials investigations and reports to Zebra's authorized vendors as appropriate.
Engages management and team members as required for assistance in addressing new or complex issues.
Works with the team to support new product quality plan implementations.
Demonstrates the ability to understand technical requirements and deliver output following the learned technical framework.
Preferred Education: High School or equivalent
Preferred Work Experience: 0–3 years
Ability to learn technical information.
Fluent level of English (written and verbal).
Beginner-level skills in Microsoft business applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitask environment.
Solid professional work behaviors, including attendance, teamwork, and time management.
The worker will be required to comply with and operate in accordance with all applicable Zebra policies, as well as the safety guidelines, procedures, and requirements of the assigned warehouse location.
