About the Role We are seeking an experienced Application Developer Expert to provide production support and technical delivery for a business-critical Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technical professional with strong experience supporting OpenText Content Server, ECM/EDMS platforms, enterprise applications, production environments, and ITIL processes. The role combines day-to-day production support with exciting project initiatives, including an upcoming OpenText upgrade, Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation, application monitoring and telemetry integration, and ongoing enhancements across multiple integrated enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day production support for Enterprise Content Management (ECM) applications, primarily OpenText Content Server.
Troubleshoot and resolve application incidents, access issues, system defects, and break/fix requests.
Support application enhancements and technical projects while maintaining platform stability and performance.
Participate in Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management activities following ITIL best practices.
Support upcoming OpenText platform upgrades and migrations.
Assist with the implementation of approved Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
Support application telemetry, monitoring, and observability initiatives.
Work with business users, technology teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve complex production issues.
Support integrations across multiple enterprise applications and systems.
Participate in major incident management and disaster recovery activities when required.
Ensure applications operate in accordance with organizational security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in technical discussions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate team members.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of application production support experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
Hands-on experience supporting OpenText Content Server strongly preferred.
Recent and relevant experience with other OpenText or enterprise content management platforms will also be considered.
Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production incident resolution skills.
Experience working with ITIL processes, including:
Incident Management
Problem Management
Change Management
Experience supporting complex and integrated enterprise applications.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production support environment.
Experience working in regulated environments with strong security and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with OpenText upgrades, migrations, or platform modernization initiatives.
Experience implementing or supporting Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations.
Experience with application monitoring, telemetry, or observability tools.
Familiarity with Azure or cloud technologies.
SQL query writing and database troubleshooting experience.
Experience with file-based integrations and enterprise application interfaces.
Experience supporting audits, compliance activities, and technical documentation.
