Location: Caguas, PR Pay Rate: $10.50 / hourly Shifts: Ability and willingness to work any shift in support of operations that may include 24/7. Availability to work non-standard shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift), 12 hours shifts, holidays, weekends, as per business needs.
Summary:
Achieve daily production, quality, and safety commitments by performing a variety of electronic, manual, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly operations in assemblies or sub-assemblies. Organize and operate automatic or semi-automatic machinery.
Functions:
Assemble, repair, inspect, and/or test products following defined manufacturing procedures.
Operate a variety of machinery or manufacturing equipment following specified procedures.
Adhere to company guidelines for quality and compliance.
Work with microscopes and small components; may require extended periods of standing or sitting during shifts. Willingness to work occasional overtime.
Use computers to document manufacturing activities using electronic batch records. Adhere to quality and compliance guidelines.
Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, hair and beard nets, shoe covers, hoods, gowns, coveralls, and gloves.
Maintain good documentation practices as defined in operating procedures.
Dispose of toxic waste materials in designated areas.
Train other employees as needed.
Keep all required certifications up to date to ensure compliance.
Perform other operational tasks within the department as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED
No previous manufacturing experience required.
Ability to read and understand basic instructions and other work-related documents written in English.
Basic interpretation of documents defining practices and procedures in the production area.
Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information related to processes, company, and documents.
Availability to work non-standard shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
