Title: Server Engineer
Location: Columbia, SC
Partial Onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Onsite and as Needed.
Hours: 8-5 - OT is required for any disaster recovery exercises and proof of concept
Duration: 6 Months

C2 Eligibility is Required- Must be a US Citizen

Interviews: In Person

Day To Day:

• Maintaining the environment includes keeping up with hardware EOL and renewals. Maintaining DR readiness to include meeting and planning with customers.
• During disaster recovery exercises able to maintain, coordinate and troubleshoot issues at a fast pace.  

Team:

• Team currently consists of 3 people. We solely support and maintain the FEP systems for contingency and DR purposes.
• Execute at least 4 disaster recovery exercises a year one of which is audited and executed 24/7. 

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree.

Required Experience:

• 8 years of server or other job related experience

Required Skills:

• Disaster Recovery Management
• Network troubleshooting
• AIX and Linux Server management.
