Job Description
Position Title: Phlebotomist I
Work Location: Charlotte, NC
Assignment Duration: 3 Months | Contract to Possible Extension
Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary
Phlebotomy, process samples, paths, swab samples, sample shipment.
Background & Context
Opening created to support FMLA coverage.
Opportunity includes potential contract extension and possible conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform phlebotomy procedures
- Process laboratory samples
- Handle pathology-related samples
- Collect swab samples
- Prepare and manage sample shipment
Qualification & Experience
- Phlebotomy – At least 2 years
- Customer Service
- Flexibility
- High School / GED
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Stand approximately 5–7 hours daily
- Average of 30–35 draws per day
- Work within outpatient/IOP environment
- Work alongside one additional team member
