Title: Professional Services Consultant
Location: Remote (Canada Or USA)
Direct-Hire / Permanent Role

Job Overview:

As a Professional Services Consultant, you will lead the implementation of client’s Platform for new customers with support from other consultants. You will be the prime point of contact during the customer implementation process, leveraging your skills in Project Management, Customer Relationship Management and Product and Domain Knowledge in order to onboard customers effectively and efficiently.
The Smart Factory Production Monitoring Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing machine connectivity solutions that enable real-time production monitoring. This role bridges manufacturing operations, controls engineering, and IT to rapidly connect equipment to the Smart Factory platform through secure, scalable data collection architectures.
Your primary responsibility is determining what production data should be captured, how it should be captured, and ensuring it is accurately and reliably transmitted into the system. This is not just a training/configuration role — this is a hands-on technical role requiring PLC programming, tag mapping, industrial networking, and deep manufacturing process knowledge. Because we are a growing organization, you will work directly with leadership and have meaningful influence on our implementation standards, hardware strategy, and best practices.
 
Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate on-site Business Process Mapping (BPM) sessions with customers and collect information that will guide the development of Workflows and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Assist in the translating of business requirements into technical design documents.
  • Configure and trouble shoot solutions per design documents.
  • Assist customers with data migration activities related to Go-Live.
  • Train and mentor customer shop floor, front office, and management users in the use of our platform.
  • Ensure all key project tasks and milestones are captured, completed, and communicated according to timelines while managing competing priorities.

Required Qualifications:- 
  • Strong consulting, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong presence, able to articulate complex concepts accurately, logical structure in presenting ideas in written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage.
  • Manufacturing, Supply chain and distribution industry knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to travel as needed (50%).
  • Able to work from home while not travelling to or working from customer facilities.
  • BA / BS / AA Degree.
  • Legally entitled to work in North America .
  • Must be willing and able to travel internationally.
  • Holds a valid driver's license and passport 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities, including verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience implementing MES, QMS, Environmental Health Safety, CMMS, and/or Inventory Management software.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and PLC programming. Experience in setting up direct communication with control systems on customer equipment, this includes PLCs, controllers and existing outputs and existing outputs.
