Senior Accountant
Position Overview
A well‑established manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support plant‑level financial operations at its Woodstock, IL facility. The business operates in a dynamic job‑shop environment where production cycles shift frequently, offering strong exposure to operations, engineering, and leadership. This is a smaller, agile organization that operates with the structure and rigor of a large, sophisticated company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month‑end close for plant P&L
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, prepaids, fixed asset schedules, and depreciation.
- Assist with E&L calculations and related financial activities.
- Partner with plant operations and engineering teams to ensure Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement efforts
