About the HR Coordinator Opportunity

This role will support day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, recruiting, and general HR administration. The ideal candidate will be organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This position offers training and growth for someone eager to build their HR career while making an immediate impact.


HR Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including experience with Payroll Plus

  • The HR Coordinator will assist with recruiting efforts such as scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communication

  • Support HR operations including employee records, onboarding, and compliance

  • The HR Coordinator will provide backup support to the HR team as needed

  • Assist with HR reporting and administrative projects

  • The HR Coordinator will maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR activities


Qualifications of the HR Coordinator Role

  • 1–3+ years of HR or payroll experience

  • Payroll processing experience required (Payroll Plus preferred)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities

  • Experience in a union environment is a plus

  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
