About the Company:
Our client is a rapidly growing hospitality / live music organization who are looking to add a Director of Finance to their team. They have enjoyed incredible growth in the last few years and are seeking a candidate with a background within a similar sector to join their team as they continue their expansion.
Live Music or Hospitality experience is a must for this role.
* Manage accounts payable across multiple hospitality and live event venues
* Process and verify invoices for F&B, production, artist hospitality, and event vendors
* Partner with operations, culinary, beverage, and production teams to ensure timely invoice submission
* Execute weekly vendor payments and maintain vendor relationships
* Conduct daily sales audits across POS, ticketing, and event settlements
* Investigate and resolve sales discrepancies; ensure reports balance
* Post daily and event sales journal entries
* Support month-end close, including P&L review and expense accruals
* Assist with bi-annual forecasting and consolidated reporting
Background Required:
* 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in live music, hospitality, or multi-venue operations
* Strong accounts payable and sales audit background
* Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Compeat a plus)
* Detail-oriented, organized, and highly reliable
* Comfortable working cross-functionally in a dynamic, event-based environment
* CPA a plus

This hands-on role oversees accounts payable, sales auditing, and month-end support across food & beverage, ticketing, merchandise, and live events, working closely with our outsourced finance partner.
The ideal candidate brings experience in live music venues, hospitality, or multi-unit F&B operations and thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
