Controller – North Indianapolis (On‑Site)

Salary: $90,000–$105,000 depending on experience

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking Controller to oversee all accounting operations and provide strategic financial leadership. This role is ideal for a hands‑on accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The Controller will manage the accounting team, ensure strong internal controls, and support executive leadership with timely financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, month‑end and year‑end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with GAAP.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures to support operational integrity.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes; provide variance analysis and recommendations to leadership.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury activities.
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to support business initiatives, cost analysis, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
