Senior Accountant Responsibilities

• Manage general accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and full-cycle accounting processes
• Lead and support the month-end close process, ensuring completion within 10 business days
• Maintain and reconcile financial statements for 33 site/location-level entities
• Handle multi-entity accounting across a complex organizational structure
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across all entities and locations
• Prepare and maintain schedules and documentation required for internal and external audits
• Support daily accounting operations and data entry as needed
• Assist with system integrations and process improvement initiatives, including projects involving Paycom, Sage, and reporting automation tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and support technology-driven enhancements
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

Senior Accountant Requirements

• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including month-end close, journal entries, and full-cycle accounting
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and complex organizational structures
