Senior Accountant - Laurel, MD

About the Company and Overview of the Senior Accountant role:

• CFS is partnering with a manufacturing client to find a Senior Accountant on a contractual basis
  • This position can become permanent for the right candidate depending on performance and the needs of the business

• Schedule: 8am-5pm (with some flexibility) M-F. Work an 8 hour schedule, 40 hours per week!
• Position is 100% in office in Laurel, MD
• Salary: $70,000-$80,000 depending on experience

Job Duties for the Senior Accountant:

• Handle AP, AR, and payroll duties
• Manage general ledger accounting
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Perform account reconciliations
• Analyze budget variances
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 3+ years' full cycle accounting experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
